stuff is confusing :/
for retrofit, you have to make a few small cuts. not sure about wiring but you do have to modify your housings.

Edit: actually not sure about the morimoto kits, but I know for infiniti and honda s2k projectors you do

Well you need a projector kit like the link I posted, also an HID kit as well and that is practically it.

Yes it will require taking apart headlights just because you insert the projector through the front of the headlight and then there are bits and pieces that help fasten the projector to the back of your stock housing where a little bit of cutting is required but VERY VERY minimal. Then just getting it all dialed in really. I can explain in to detail a lot more but it does vary on the type of projector you go with because the ones I got are smaller and other ones are a lot larger which will require more cutting.

Hope that gives you a general idea....If you do pull the trigger just hit me up, Don't mind helping out a fellow subie friend

i might pull the trigger on it if you don't mind helping me out with the install, i don't have anywhere to work on my car and a lack of tools.

I won't be able to make this one. It interferes with my pre-movie nap. Yes I am going to see Harry Potter at midnight. Sorry
