It's from With Honors (mmm Moira Kelly), a quintessential 90's flick. One of Joe Pesci's better works, personally. Fraser is Monty, a Harvard student about to graduate with honors, and he crosses paths with Simon Wilder, played by Joe Pesci, a homeless man who teaches him things he'd never learn in the classroom about life, love, stop and smell the roses, etc. "If you want a degree, go to Harvard. If you want an education, go to Simon Wilder."

I'd put it in my top 15 (maybe even short listed to top 10) favorite 90's movies.

Just because it was brought up, I may go watch it again tonight. lol
