So I'm curious: are you acting this way because he's speeding, or because he's speeding at 150?
also that vid doesn't show anything. not sure a cop would even waste time on that.

There really isn't anything in that video that is admissible as evidence. No valid reference to speed (speedometer, audible confession). There are a lot of driving fast videos online however many of them im sure go unchecked because it would very difficult to try in court.
(b) A person who drives a vehicle upon a highway at a speed greater than 100 miles per hour is guilty of an infraction punishable, as follows:
(1) Upon a first conviction of a violation of this subdivision, by a fine of not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500). The court may also suspend the privilege of the person to operate a motor vehicle for a period not to exceed 30 days pursuant to Section 13200.5.

Driving drunk and excessive speeding is something I don't take lightly to. Either way, loss of control endangers others, and most of us have been or know someone who has been a victim of someone's dumb actions.

I'm not defending the guy for going 150 on a highway, and I don't even like that particular guy in the first place. I abide by just about every law in the book about 95% of the time, but will be the 1st to admit that every now and then, I get the urge or adrenaline takes over and I let 'er rip. I'm not ashamed or sorry about it, regardless of what people like you will say. And I know that just about everyone on here, with the exception of like 2 people, speed, or drive unsafely, or do silly things in their cars that would absolutely land them a ticket and/or a trip to jail had a cop been around them.
Which is why I asked what I did. Because in my honest opinion, a short burst over 100mph on a vacant road in the middle of the night is something neither I, nor about 99% of the people on here would care about at all. Heck I bet a good beer that majority of cops wouldn't even care even if you did show them that. I bet a good case of beer that it would be extremely difficult to get that guy in trouble even if you did go through all the trouble of being internet detective and bringing that all to court.
Just sayin.

I guess I couldn't make out what he said on the video. Regardless Vlad pretty much nails it on the head. I'm guilty of punching it up for a bit then backing down. Most car enthusiasts I believe would be guilty as well. Why have the power if its never played with on occasion. However, if someone is constantly posting videos of excessive speeding, driving wreckless and ultimately doing crazy things potentially putting others on the road at risk aside from any passengers, then I can see D.A.'s office pursuing legal action. Ultimately what I'm getting at, using the evidence online as the base for a citation or more is much more trouble and money than it is worth to the police and the court. Especially given the limited resources they have available already.
