Yeah... I wasn't aware of this when I started planning for this years 2nd Annual LTBC. But they're also holding their event during Tough Mudder so hopefully there's less people in the basin the following weekend during the LTBC. I'll be traveling out from Park City, UT and holding the event regardless either the 18th or 25th. If it means less people than last year, then that's what happens. As long as it's a clean and well run event like last year, then that's all that matters. The goal is to have a successful event, and to be invited back every year regardless of the turnout.

Yo!
I work for Squaw Valley (23 years). Who is your contact? How many cafrs are you anticipating? Not sure I can do anything, but I am willing to walk to someone's desk and see if I can help...

Last year, we had just over 60 cars, so I would guess between 40-70 this year. There's another Subaru caravan the week before that I was unaware of, and I think most people will go to that instead. But all I need is an okay for either the 18th or 25th and the event should be set to go.
Thank you for your willingness to help!

Morn!
OK. I think Rob is done for the season. He *might* be here this weekend as it is closing weekend. Otherwise I know the right people to talk to if he is indeed gone for the season. Parking lot crew is a seasonal position, and we are WAY past our original closing date. And the traffic in the Valley is almost none at the moment....
Stay tuned. I will do some leg work as I roll around work today...
Cheers!

Heya!
Sooooo, I talked to Kyle Crezee who as part of his Director of Events title is the control of parking lot. He is Rob's "boss" so to speak. I went by his office and discussed y'all coming to Squaw. I mentioned how you scheduled through Rob last year and that it went smoothly. After some more details he said "Sounds great!". He asked me to have you email him as well as Cc our Manager of Events, Aaron Tippett . Kyle is a gear head, and a REALLY nice guy. He is also very busy, so give him some time after you email him.
Those 2 are literally top of the food chain for the parking lot. And it sounded like Kyle was on board. Kyle is a gear head, and a REALLY nice guy. He is also very busy, so give him some time after you email him. My name is josh Holm fwiw if you want to mention me as a reference (I literally just walked out of his office, so he will recognize...). As you said, both weekends are pretty open, so I think it will be just hashing out contact details and the date.
Let me know if it works out and what date you decide on....
Cheers!
