I was hunted down after the meet. An older guy (yes it's possible) in a Silver STi asking if I was just over at KK and what the dealio was.

Yea I think next month's meet will maybe involved some food. We should all go down somewhere to eat or chill. I have to scope out that new eatery across from the KK.

theres quite a few spot across the street, therse an AppleBees a bit further down or if you go towards bruceville theres chilli's and a hole bunch of restaurants...

The meet spot is actually really nice. Didn't mind the drive from EDH. Its a great alternative to the Saturday meet for the people who work weekends. Of course I am always hopeing I have Saturdays off to go to that meet, But its easier for me to get Mondays off. So hopefully I will be at the next EGKK.

 

It's a great little spot but it's also an open invitation for police to come up and make us all pop our hoods. EGPD(from what I've heard) comes down hard on imports and even has "modified car" checkpoints. So somewhere where there is more open space and a bit more secluded would be nice. If it does get big enough that we end up taking all of the parking lot, we'll move the meet spot.
Until then it's EGKK...

the only reason I think EGKK is a bad spot is because once you get off the freeway, that whole parking lot is very visible because of hill(?) and krisp kreme is on the bottom of that, so the PD can see all . . . also if there happens to be more people coming (hint hint you subie guys) the parking lot might get full and the management of krisp kreme might get ticked off. . .

anyhow my suggestions if we stay in elk grove . . . . these places are still off laguna blvd.

Tapioca express
AppleBees (have dinner later)
More restaurants you get the idea....

or we can go further south (1 exit down) to elk grove blvd, they have a few nice new plaza that just opened, theres a sports bar (yum drinks!)

Oh yeah, the Evo guys are all local in south sac/elk grove . . . there's still a few more of us but usually more will come out on the weekend
