well back on topic , the meet was pretty nice. ~20 cars showed up A lambo countach, a few RX7's, a GD, 2GR's, legacy, 300z, 350z's. Then all of a sudden the rice came pouring in towards the end, civics, ae86's, etc. That's when i left. Otherwise, chill meet, good times. Ill link pics once they are up

WTF-whatcha all laughing about, hell it was y'all who kept talking about a combined super meet with all norcal areas in the first place, i was just being friendly & going along with the flow. I ain't the one suggesting we all meet at davis, so why you trying to bag on me. Don't just single me out cuz a few others were thinking of a super meet on the sac meet forum too, talking about how cool & **** it would be. If i wanted to disagree, then i would've talked **** but i didn't. I guess next time one of our elk grove meets gets cancelled for whatever reason, nobody should even mention a combined meet with sac or else get ridiculed. I heard about former meets being so damn small, i'm just trying to avoid that by including all norcal areas to our meets if possible, that's all. ****, at our last meet, i made the location suggestion & broadcasted to the sac forum and look what happened, hella people finally showed up from all over. It was a pretty good large meet. The bigger the better-more cars to check out & people to talk to. Did y'all try to ridicule everyone with a super subie meet (what else am i gonna call it) post, i think not. So please don't be dicks, i ain't hurting anyone, just trying to be friendly. If y'all don't wanna hear me talk about that **** then don't ask, we'll just have our own 'lil area specific meets then, so it won't be "SUPER", just local. Sorry if i mentioned it too much, just thought it would be hella tight to have such a large combined subie meet, guess i was ****ing wrong!
I think there was maybe 1 or 2 others talking about a combined meet, and they mentioned it once or twice. Idk how many times you posted about a "super meet".
You just joined this forum, and all you've posted are in the meet threads. Im pretty sure if more ppl from other areas wanted to go to another local meets, all they would have to do is check out the thread on the time/location.
You keep calling it a "super subie norcal" meet, and by that I guess all of norcal is Sac/Elk Grove, and maybe Davis.
We have an anual car meet, called BAM, where all of iclub sets up a central location and specific date to try and get the most ppl to attend. Norm there are 250+ plus subarus that show.
This has been said idk how many times, but this is the SLOW SEASON. We just had a bunch of holidays, people in school had finals, people traveling for holidays, and school starting again. Plus the weather is cold/wet and not as many people head out. During the summer (at least for the Sac meets) there are 12+ cars almost every week. Meets being slow at this time of year is nothing new.
Wow, first take a deep breath and calm down.

Feb 19, 2011 i-club meet
Yeah, thanks for the post regarding the meet, "Mautai916". Couldn't stay for long, but it was cool regardless. Would've been nice to see more Subaru's there though, but nice mix of cars. It was cool some ae86's showed up later. I wanted to see one, but i already left the premises. I haven't exactly removed the AE86-F20c project from memory, but I want to be sure I can get ALL the necessary S2K smog legal stuff in. Auto x, it's cool, but i dont want it to get impounded on the street, lol. Lookn 4ward to next meet when that times comes.

^Nice pics, maybe i'll go to the next car meet at EG park! Just wondering how does that white STi not get hassled by the cops with just that STi marquis plate in the front & no license plate cuz isn't it Cali law to have both on the vehicle? Anyways, all the Subies/STis should go to the next one here, that would def be badass!

Showing a plate in the front window just draws more attention than no plate at all. Plus you lose the benefits of reduced traffic cam identification.

i still smell like bbq smoke... but at lease nobody went home hungry
