Yeah, god help me trying to get rid of my rattle. hahahahaha, and I think I hear your car all the time. And it bugged the **** out of me, cuz I always hear a subie driving around the neighborhood but NEVER see anyone hahaha.

And I've only seen Dre once, and I'm sure he's always over there.

I imagine that if I was any younger he would have just given me the strong finger of the law - without lube..

Man, that sux! So did you ever remove that loud exhaust or just keep it on? Hopefully i never get pulled over by any cops here cuz my ****z hella freaking loud (straight pipe cb exhaust without resonators/mufflers). STis are suppose to be really loud (if you can't hear da badass rumble den what's da point)! I couldn't ****ing stand the quiet as hell stock exhaust system! I just try to drive really slow with hardly any revs or get into a higher gear way too early if i'm around any popo. I've been followed & profiled many times but nothing so far (knock on wood). Elk Grove PD always hide everywhere around the city, especially near my home off of Elk Grove Blvd., just to give ****ing tickets. I see & hear it all the time. Gotta be hella carefull here with any type of performance/modded car.

I hacked the ricer potato shooter off the exhaust and installed an oval magnaflow with a bit of a turn down and painted it all flat black.. It's still just as loud, but it is angled down at the street so the sound doesn't carry as far.. Catless up-pipe and catless 3" turboback on E85.. It's about as quiet as I can make it without hurting flow.

Isn't any catless exhaust illegal in CA? What'll you do when it's time to smog your car? Does it run better or faster on E85? I still got both my cats on but it's still hella loud & rumbly due to the cb straight pipe. Just don't have resonators/mufflers, they just **** up the boxer sound imo. STRAIGHT RALLY STYLE-hell yeah! No added weight or cop visual harassment-plus it's waayy cheaper cuz all those fancy STi exhausts are too expensive for my tastes. Deep, rumbly, backfiring, loud-not quiet, farty, raspy, or ricy!

I love the rumble but by nature our motors are really loud compared to most 4 cylinders. Unfortunately for me i am pretty young and I'm sure most cops aren't going to cut me much of a break, this is why I'm going for a pretty mild exhasust. I'm lookin for a way to tuck a maddad whisper or a Borla in front of the rear axle so it can't be seen then just weld 3" raw steel piping comin out of the muffler to the rear end. Oh and Catless on top
of that

No word yet & it's almost monday, well if y'all don't wanna eat/drink & are ****ing broke like me then maybe we can meet at Borders on Laguna Blvd. so i can get to know y'all & just hang out (talk). Since the parking lot is big, maybe we could all park somewhere in the back all by ourselves grouped together so we could all check out & explain our individual rides to eachother. There's large group tables we can relax at & a cafe right there for those wanting snacks or coffee. I go there all the time, sounds like a cool idea imo. If not, then let me know wusup asap cuz i'll probably be busy on the weekend (i usually am). Later!

Doesn't sound half bad to me. I too was thinking a was thinking another drink meet. Either Boba/Starbucks again. Boba Tea House was pretty chill, and their drinks are half off from 6-closing I think. As for Starbucks we can take our pick. Either way doesn't really matter where we meet to me. Just let me know what you guys would like to do and I can set up the place for us.

Sounds cool-if you're talking about Boba or Starbucks on Elk Grove Blvd. (both near old town EG) then that's fine cuz i live right by both (i could literaly walk to them). Saves me time & gas i suppose! I probably won't buy anything since i'm pretty broke, just be there to meet y'all & chit chat. Time's winding down, so let's hurry up & decide so i can know if i'll be able to go. Hope to see y'all whenever we decide to meet at!

If we go to Starbucks, then the one on the corner of Elk Grove Blvd. & Waterman Rd. (right next to CVS) is PERFECT for me-hella close to my home!
