Daivs Subaru Owners, and everyone else: SCCA Solo2 event on april 17th
I am planning on going to the solo2 event at the san juaquin fairgrounds on sunday april 17th and figured it would be cool to get a group of people to go from davis, as well as the surrounding area. So if anyone is interested in doing a little auto-x, head on out there. Or if you are interested in going out to the event but don't want to run, it could be a good backdrop for a small meet. Again this is all just an idea, but I will be out there for sure.
For the davis people if you want to caravan down there let me know. I will leave davis around 7am in hopes to get there around 8. Tech. inspection ends at 9am so I don't want to get there any later then 830.
If you haven't done an auto-x before, they do require the use of a helmet that meets certain requirements, however they have a limited supply of loaners available for you to use. The cost for a non-member is $35 i believe and $25 for scca members.
here is the link to the sac. chapter of scca solo2.

hope to see some people out there.

i don't think they have free runs but they should have the fun runs in the remaining time for each group. you would either pay one or two bucks per lap you do during the fun run time period. last time i did an event it was only a buck per run. at the end of the day i was able to get about 8 runs if i remember correctly.

its been a while, but yah the few times i have been out its only been 1 dollar per 'fun run'.
only thing that sucks is it requires you to wait until the very end.
should be an awesome end of week, i shall def. be there, either spectating with a lawn chair and a 6 pack of root beer, or actuallly entering
