you're all invited to...
MonkeyBiz.org one year anniversary bbq, car meet and concert. some of you guys have seen us at the pleasonton meet... i used to own a wrx but i now drive a white 91 turbo mr2 with takata green te37's.
here's the info... spread the word!
Music: Many bands will be playing that day, but a full band list is not ready. stay tuned for more info on that. but we do have a legit amplified sound permit! so get ready for that. if your not into cars you should come for the music
sunnvale baylands park
directions: Sunnyvale Baylands Park is easily accessible at the end of Lawrence Expressway off Highway 237 at Caribbean Drive. From Highway 101 take Highway 237 towards Milpitas and from Highway 880 take Highway 237 towards Mountain View. Take the Lawrence Expressway/Caribbean Drive exit, at the first stoplight turn right into the park.
the park will be open from sunrise to sunset. please be there earlier if you want a good kodak moment parking spot. we will be having free bbq while it lasts so please feel free to help out with provisions such as meat, soda, chips, whatever. theres a huge BBQ pit to share or if you want to play iron chef bring your weber, i know i will.
alcohol IS permitted, thats right it is ALLOWED as long as you eat. seriously its a park rule.No jumping into the ponds and water bodies.
please enter the park in an orderly manner. no revving, squealing (locked diffs can't help it i understand), or showboating of that manner. if you want people to know whats under the hood, just park and open it. please leave in the same orderly manner. don't drive drunk and most importantly have a good time!
this should be a HUGE meet since we are inviting all local car clubs. and the best part is PARKING IS FREE !!!
but parking is first come first serve. i would suggest getting there before 12 to secure a parking space close to the bbq pit.

free food, free parking, free live music... how could you go wrong? haha...
just make sure you get there early... we'll be buying enough food for 100 people... everyone after that will have to settle with looking at nice cars and listening to good music.
the bbq pits are huge! so if you would like to bring an extra back of hotdogs or hamburgers please do so...

just want to bump it up... if you guys want food be there early!!!
we got 80 hamburgers and 150 hotdogs... but we also booked 9 bands to come play... and we want to feed the car enthusiasts before we feed the band's fanboys....
