The original head gaskets on the EJ25D, unfortunately, are extremely likely to fail.

yeah they were the original...thats where i effed up...owell.

Original as in, from 1997?

The current (updated) OEM gaskets are revised, they SHOULD NOT fail (unless installed incorrectly)
