Hey Dan. What's the tire specs on those tires.

I don't see the point of wide wheels with narrow tires. Those tires look "stretched" a bit. I want to run 245's.

17x8 +48 with a 225/45/17 tire, hardly stretched and is definitely a performance setup (afterall STi used the same combo on their 05-07 STi's with great results ).

A 245/40/17 tire can fit on a 17x8 however it's not the best setup IMO. I've ran this setup on my personal car and felt the tire had a bit of play so initial turn in wasn't as responsive. If you are wanting a bit more performance, a 235/40/17 fits great and will work very well. It's a bit shorter than your OEM diameter so you will get slightly quicker acceleration and it's still very responsive due to the nice fit on the 17x8 wheel.

Too much technical info for this thread hehe, come out to the BBQ dude we can discuss the setup
