We got a Nikon D40 as an entry level. Just the 18-55mm lens too. I say "we" because it's really the wife's camera. She wanted to make sure we had a good camera for when the baby comes.

Congrats on the baby! I have an entry level Canon EOS Xti. . .My wife and I just a beautiful daughter too. She's about 14 weeks now! Are you excited??

Not much. Just been busy so I haven't had time to come out for anything these days. Been getting restless now though with the nice weather here. Hopefully if something in V-town gets started up I'll actually have more time to come out to meets since it's so close.
I haven't seen you since the Skaggs Springs drive last year. What's up?

keye, when's a good time you would be able to come out? I'm trying to keep it in the afternoon, more than the evening. . . between 3pm and 6pm at least. . . i dont know, what are your thoughts as where we should hold a meet and what time and when?

I'm pretty flexible today so the afternoon works fine for me. I'm just chillin' around the house right now. Probably not really up for a drive, but just a photoshoot would be fine. Feeling kind of lazy today.
Like I said, lots of old abadoned Navy buildings on Mare Island might be cool as a backdrop. I'm not too familar with Vallejo since I've only been here about a year.
