random side note....about what I was gonna be doing tomorrow night.
Have you ever seen the insides of a carb? Whoever came up with those things is a damn genious. There are like 50 little tiny screws/pins/needles that have gas going throught them. Then you have all these valves and spring and these damn floats. If one thing is off your screwed.
My car has been running rough and spitting mad black smoke (53 cadi) then the car crapped out...linkage busted. So figured I'd rebuild the carb. DUDE....one tiny little hole...talkin a pin hole...not even a pin hole..something like a pore in your skin....let gas in one of the floats. Float doesn't rise like it should. Fragged everything all up. I think that is pretty much what has been causing all my problems....a damn pin hole.
So hopefully my cadi will be back on the road next week. Then it'll be in hiding for a few weeks while we cut, weld, sand, prep, grind, paint, and drink lots of beer.

nice! but yea, I know what you mean about the carbs.....and isn't it just amazing how one micro-scopic, teeny little, itty bitty hole that you would never expect to harm anything can totally FUBAR everything all up?! LOL, glad you got it figured out though!

What is it with Dodges hitting Subarus? There's actually a few threads about that on AWDPirates.net. I can think of 4 or 5 people off the top of my head who have been hit by a Dodge in their Subaru. It sucks. Anyway, I can relate to having the car in the body shop, but if you can find a ride or borrow a car, you should still come.
