Cost is just $190 per driver to include morning coffee service, catered lunches, snacks, Gatorade, bottled water, and volunteer instruction upon request, and best of all -- at least two hours of track time. The last event I did with them was a blast. I would like to see more of you guys out on the track this time.

Thanks for the endorsement, Josh! We sure enjoyed having you with us, both as a great instructor and outstanding driver. Just a little side note . . . we are running an 'early bird special' -- if you get your registration in by May 1st, cost is only $175 per driver! Better get a move on . . . taxes are paid, now it's time to play!

If you plan on doing any track stuff in your car you really should avoid the M-rated motorcycle helmets and spring for an SA-2000 model.
M helmets might be OK for autocross and the occasional HPDE, but most sanctioning bodies are requiring SA for cars on tracks.

T.E.A.M. allows, at least for the time being, an M or SA helmet, so long as it has a 95+ Snell sticker. Difference . .. the M helmets are only approved for collisions . . . the SA is approve for not only collisons but is also fire-retardant. So, hey baby it's your head -- whatcha wanna do widdit? For 25 bucks, heck . . . just rent one. You will get over the smell as soon as you replace it with your own Subie sweat!

Nah, I'm not gonna be renting a helmet....no way....I'll spring for my own....besides, unless this is the ONLY track event that I go to, I will need a helmet anyways. Thanks for the suggestions though....anyone know where I can go locally to look at SA2000 rated helmets? I live in the south bay.

What's an MX helmet? Motocross??? Anyway, you likely can show me up, as mine is pretty plain -- just a white helmet with the SCCA helmet stickers for Solo I and Club Racing. Oh . . . and my blood type, Kaiser number, and emergency contact number. Yuck. ;D But you can't show us up if you don't show up. I hope you can join us!!!
