165whp, which is actually very accurate, unlike the bloated numbers other dynos produce.

It doesnt read low, it reads accurate. I would rather have a low number then an inflated one.

How do you know it's accurate?

I mean I don't want an inflated number either, but the truth of the matter is that you haven't got a clue as to how accurate that dyno is at any point in time.

And Gagan:
How did it turn out?

I figure it is accurate based on common estimates of drivetrain loss therough an AWD car to be about 25%. If you take 25% off the factory rating of the WRX's 227 hp, you get 170 AWHP, which is very close, much closer then other Dyno's, to what Shiv's dyno consistently measures the WRX's awhp. That is how I consider it to be the most accurate as opposed to the other Dyno's which read 175-185 awhp on the WRX.

Shiv's dyno reading has been consistant through out the runs he have done to tune my car. I currently am running 255whp 235torque only with his stage two w/o TMIC. Some one told me he had re-calibrated his dyno and the numbers should have been lower. The only differance from then and now is +5whp and +2torque. See you guys this Sunday.

Mike A.

Just to add. Shiv states I should read higher than 300whp on ATP's dyno.

Will shiv be Reflashing and tuning other cars there? If so will there be a discounted rate for the Dyno tune and reflash? I will be there no matter what though.

Shiv's dyno is the reason that the RX-8 was "re-called" and given lower hp numbers.

Will they be selling parts there at all this? I'd kinda like to buy some stuff from the source, rather than through ordering online and such.....y'know, instant gratification and all XD
