Jody did a great job keeping the group together, it wasn't easy for sure. Loved the off-roading in the orchards man, that was nuts. Overall we rolled about 16 subies deep in the caravan and had an Evo and RX8 join the pack! LA traffic sucks but we kept it together for the most part. Kudos again to Jody for leading the pack!
until we pushed the RX8 outta the middle of the grape vine....still dont know whether it overheated or what.

overall, great caravan! towards the end, i was having pretty bad misfiring at low RPM's (when we would get off hwy). hwy driving was fine. turned out i was right and the #1 plug wire was jank ****. repalced the entire set and had a smooth ride back

some suggestions for next year:

one thing that i would really want to bring tothe table as improvement for next year, would be more leaders. in specific, a leader for a given area. i.e: Jody is leader of X area, then leads to next leader and his caravan. leaders WILL be on time. i dont blame jody for being late. but i think his downfall was leading so many groups. IMO, if Jody wanted to be main leader, all "small leaders" bring their groupd to Jody (last and fianl meet spot before heading down). seems like we lost time in the bay. im not hating on Jody, he deff stepped up and took on a task that many prob would not want to. not to mention it seemed like he was covering for someone. point being, lets make next years caravan more smooth and on time

enough about that. it was great meeting new people and had an awesome time! thanks everyone for making it a pleasant/pull over free ride down!

HUMP DAAAAAY!!! YEAUH!

Car Info: .
With all the info I posted, I tried to make it as easy as possible, and calculated the times really really well IMO. plus all of the info was pretty much from Jody (he planned every thing), I was just passing on the info here on i-club and put it into a nicer looking list with map. My contribution was just to make his info non-confusing.

but I think the downfall was the Leader not even arriving till an hour late...which throws off everything and confuses a ton of people wondering if they missed the caravans or are even at the right locations.

I look forward to going next year.

everyone did their part as best as they could. IMO what caused the delays was being the leader for so many places. IMO each location should have its own leader and then all leaders meet jody for the main and final caravan. this way others who are meeting, lets say SJ in n out: arent confused and not in the loop. each location leader should be there 10 mins early or the first one there. having more leaders, IMO, deff will reduce an complications. just a suggestion. but thats what seemed to be the bieggest issue. and no one needs to be chewed out for what happened. just live and learn. not to mention the date that we left on.....i have concluded my #1 misfire was because of the 13th...
