what time did you guys head over, cuz usually ppl dont show up til about 10ish or so. im still here at work and im off at 11, but looks like no one is coming by so ill just head home. maybe next week.

Should I just change the location to make solely a Duke's meet? I'm assuming the two that showed up went to Pizza and Pipes, correct?

I would have had to bring my car on a trailer, and that would have been hard since I don't have one. You're from Hawaii? I just moved back here from Hilo last month. Woot.

 

Karl, i guess theres some confusion with the 2 different meets that occur on wednesday nights. maybe if you can edit the original post so people wont confuse themselves on where the meet takes place, it will probably help too with all the new i clubbers that join.

Or maybe close this thread and create a brand-new one. That way, there's a historical record of the two different meets that used to be, and a new thread for the single meet.

Above is an update of where and when the meets are held. I'm reluctant to start a new thread primarily because this one is already well known and another one might just cause even more confusion. The way things are now, a huge following of this meet is a The Duke, but there had been some instances that people still attended Pizza & Pipes.

Well... I guess what we can do is decide on a primary location or is the update above clear enough?

I could possibly add this disclaimer: It is advised always to view the most recent post(s) as to where and when the majority of attendees are going to be. Then again, usually some people can't view the thread prior to attending. So for now I'm open to more suggestions/ideas.

i think one location is better and easier than 2. its better to have more people at just one spot anyways. plus, theyre not too far away from each other.

 

to clear all confusion: for the new folks, just go straight to the duke around 10. were usually there in the patio area or around the bar.

 

Yo, Karl! Whaddap, it's me, the i-clubber formerly known as Filipino Jesus! In case ya haven't heard, I cut the lovely locks & am usually clean shaven.

Anyway, in my opinion, your edit of the lead post is fine. For Wed nite grub, it's been Pizza & Pipes like 98.6% of the time, so you're staight there. Then for getting our drink on, the The Duke is the watering hole for us South Bay boozehounds after 10 o'clock. Again, that's crystal clear. Remember, folks, it's a bar. So, sorry if ya ain't 21 yet.

 

does this mean i cant come in and order my usual milk in a dirty glass?
