Newb question... Any other meets?
Friday late-night at Milpitas Square (in front of Quickly). (mixed clubs here and will always find people here).
Another Friday meetup in Sunnyvale (Cannot comment as I have not attended as I play basketball).
Thurs. night at San Jose Almaden area. (Another Subie meet, but I've never been so cannot comment).
Any more?

I've rolled through Milpitas plenty of times only to find the place a ghost town. If someone posts something on facebook, the place becomes a madhouse.
I don't know anything about Sunnyvale.
Almaden is dead. It's the third meet in that area to die. I don't think meets can be supported there.

Which is kind of surprising considering how many South Bay Subaru owners there are in the community.
Seems like whenever there is a South Bay Meet it dies, then everyone wants to know when there will be one in the area?

I think weekdays are pretty tough for most. Couple of issues - too early and traffic blows. Too late and it interferes with family stuff/work the next day. Then there's arguments about the day because some people work that day and whatever. Plus weekly-weeknight might be too often and kind of hard to swing unless there's a fairly large group of regulars. I tried to swing that Plant one a couple of nights but the timing never worked out. Problem was that it was Friday.
I'd be interested in a Tuesday/Wednesday somewhere. The Plant or Camden Park are a couple of spots that come to mind. Or a weekly Friday at Moveable Feasts or something.

Va-Jay-Jay really isn't that far away.
There was a Friday meet that moved to three different places before fizzing out. I think the Thursday meet just had poor location. I think The Plant was also kind of a bad place. When the meet moved there, The Plant was still kinda new and not a lot of stores or people. Then it got more and more crowded. The thing that successful meets have in common is that they are close to the freeway. The Thursday meet was nowhere near a freeway. I think the Philz meet is about as far from a major freeway you can get.
I wonder what Chick-fil-a is like...
