OK, I am a total new comer to all this, much less driving a stick! Where are all the people meeting around the Concord/Walnut Creek/Pinole/Richmond area? I know of some great back road drives leading from places around my house that lead to Alhambra Valley, and a REALLY AWESOME road that leads past Bear Creek Regional Forest that is pretty dang empty. Haven't been on it at night, so I don't know about cars then, but no one will want to mess with a bunch of subies cruisin that road at all (mostly Civic's in my area). Anyone know of anything? You can private message me if you'd like, and we can meet at a restaurant, get something to eat, and then go cruisin. I just got my Subie, and I am stoked to learn more about it!! Anyone interested???

 

check the east bay thread...we are currently trying to get something new going. i live right off reliez which connects to the roads u r talking about...i LOVE that drive!

right now, Tower/Rasputins in Concord is the spot but thats where all types of cars meet and that usually turns into blueberries and cherries...if they arent playin mushy cookie, theyre bustin people like us

 

yeah dont go there. trying to bring back the KHOL's meet on fridays

 

ah yes alhambra/bear creek is the place
i used to go there atleast 3 times a week but now once a week due to gas

 

Yeah, all the meets are either far or 4 dollars away? =/ Lets get some east bay meets goin!

 

tryin to get Kohls in Pleasant Hill goin thur or fri night...not sure on a time or if anyones even showin up

Fri nite @ In N Out off Hopyard that use to be popping all the time, Honda, Suby, VW, Yota peeps would come out. Anyone up to doing that again?

We should do some sunvalley mall meets. Its in the middle of everything and a good place to take some cool pics. Good big parking lts too. If anyones down i will go next fri night

 

We can do a Larkey Park meet. Thats about a 1/2 block from my house. Off geary rd and 680. I have no problems with having a local meet. I was just thinking about that tonight.

i've seen little meets over there before, i live across the street from kohl's.
is it i-club related? i havnt seen one ever since i got my car but i've seen couple of subies meet over there.

meeting in mall parking lots is not a good idea. it's private property and they have liability issues.

 

lets go to alhambra, bearcreek is cool some what now that the road is fixed a bit......but still cant really go that fast out there, you take a lot of those turns at 80-100 as it is
