Shooting Range Meets

I wanted to see if any members here would like to get some days in at local ranges across the Bay.

I recently got into firearms and going to ranges for some fun, I am going to be posting days when I am going and I would like other members who are into this hobby to do the same.

Feel free to post the date, time, location, and any other information you'd like.

I will be at Coyote Point in San Mateo this Wednesday 8/8/12 starting at 6:45 pm

There are a few LEO's on this site. Shoot with them so you can use their discount on ammo

I go there once and a while.

The Range is operated for public use by members of the Coyote Point Rifle and Pistol Club, Inc., who are Range Safety Officers. The range allows only .22 caliber rim-fire pistols and any caliber rifles. Black Powder firearms are NOT permitted. It is open to the general public EVENINGS ONLY between the hours of 7:00 P.M. and 10:00 P.M. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

I know a lot of people dislike Target Masters in Milpitas, but it's super convenient for me. I only go during the weekdays and during happy hour to avoid people that don't know how to handle a firearm.

I go to reeds, tm, chabot, and once in a while san leandro. Let me know if you guys plan on going there. Chabot is free if you have a receipt from a new firearm purchase within the last 6 months! PM me because I don't check I-club too much anymore

They are Dueck Defense top mounted 45 degree offset iron sights, I got them on eBay for $50. I have pics up on the "post a pic of your latest purchase" thread

I saw the 30 degree angled iron sights recently and thought about picking them up too. How do you like those ones?

I've shot there before at night and it was fine. Like any indoor, depends on who is there. I like that they are open a little later than Reeds.

I have not had a chance to try them out on a target yet, I have only shot at 100 yards so far. I'll let you know next weekend when I go back out.
