Well, I'm under the realization that...
with the front-diff sharing gear oil with the transmission, unevenly worn tires (left and right front different diameters due to uneven wear), torque bind caused by unevenly-worn tires, and a few other issues, I felt that it would be wise to stop driving it for now. I don't want to kill my front diff, then my transmission, then my center diff.
Considering the shared gear oil, the shavings from the front diff (not sure about this) might affect the 5-speed manual too...
Yeah, hate these engines for those damn head gaskets, but thankfully my engine isn't the worst of the issues. (Although I still have a slightly-annoying rough idle issue)

I'm not sure if they do this in N CA but in S CA (San Diego) the cops will take your car if you have illegal mods or they give you a Reff ticket. I've never come across with a cop that pulled me over for illegal mods in Santa Clara area. And i've been pulled over 4 times in the past 4 years for tinted windows or no front plate. i would think a cop would know what a FMIC is. Right?
