Drag strip launches are very hard on the drivetrain, especially the clutch and tranny internals. If high-RPM drag starts are done too frequently, you can expect a shortened life from these components.

I'll be there.

It'll give me a chance to make sure everything is running as it should be before Buttonwillow.

Is there a Home Depot near there that I can tell my wife I'm going to?

I get back from a business trip that day...I wanna go but we'll see!

If you don't get into 14's with Cobb Stage 1, you have bigger problems

(like the fact that an automatic Outback can beat you coming out of the lights )

Gates open at 4:30pm, timing runs start ~5:00pm. We usually arrive before 5:00 to go through tech inspection.

Sac Raceway Wednesday Night Drags.

To those who expect to turn 13.99 or quicker E.T.s, don't forget your helmet. You can also rent one at Sac Raceway.
