Reno-Fernley in June ~ 4.1 Mile Track!!!
Come on out and enjoy one of the West's longest tracks on June 23-24! Reno-Fernley boasts a 4.1 mile, 25-turn track. It's like a huge autocross on the top, and a horsepower festival on the bottom. Cost for this event will be $200 for one day, $375 for two days. As always, the event will include a supply of bottled water and Gatorade, healthy snacks, catered lunches, instruction, and at least TWO HOURS of track time! Go to our website at www.team-racing.org and click on the "schedule" link to sign up.

well . . . the Subaru Enthsusiast Car Club of the Sierras (SECCS -- say it out loud and you'll get the joke in the name) has five or six people going to this event. You NorCal folks should rep!

Well, the drivers list is up, folks! Already we have 20 drivers and the event is still four months away. I'm absolutely amazed. What does this mean for you? Well, just that you might think of signing up or you might get stuck at home watching NASCAR or something.
The list is at www.onemain.com/~bonster/driverlist.html

Hey folks . . . the Subaru Enthusiast Car Club of the Sierras has several Subies showing up for this, so you certainly won't be alone. Where is everybody? This is at this time the least expensive track in this part of the country, and it's HUGE and has a LOT of places to really put the hammer down. The list of drivers is building every day -- I'd hate to see ya'll miss out on this fun opportunity.

Lol, Kyle. Well, you had replied earlier, so that's at least one reply. This is such an active and popular forum, where threads like this often drown in the sea of posts. This would actually make a great Subie track -- AWD would really be advantageous there. You all should try it! If you come up for the weekend, and you hate it on Saturday, we'll give you a partial refund, no problem. That's how confident I am that you'll love it!

That and some folks don't think about an event in June just yet, even though it's actually just around the corner. I just got to make sure folks don't forget about the opportunity. We do limit the number of participants, so some folks might sign up too late and wind up staying home watching info-mercials all weekend.
