The pavement for the paved sections is generally in pretty good shape, as for the unpaved, we have 3 sections, the first is a nice 2 lane county maintained all weather road, the second one is a bit narrower, but also pretty smooth, the final one gets us to the campsite, and it's a bit sketchy, very narrow, and has a few rutted sections, this video shows the worst of it;
And of course the weather could change it for the worse, but right now it's pretty easy, so I'd think you should be fine

wow man! you posted at 9:11 on 9-11, (somebody call Rudy Giuliani!) I did precheck 2 on all-seasons, one of which is pretty bald on the outside... I'd think you could get away running this route on 45 series summer tires, but do bring a spare!

Man, this sounds awesome. Gotta look at my schedule closely & maybe see if I could tag along w/ Jeff (ipozestu) if he can fit it into his as well.
I'll seek y'all out on Sun.
Somewhat related, I'll be in the North Bay w/ a few hours to kill while my niece takes an exam. Likely drive out to Sonoma Coast St Park then down to Bodega for a mellow cruise of those awesome NorthBay roads.

Sorry I had to miss Mt Hami this year, hope everyone who went had a great time, but October is coming up fast, I probably will need to close entries at the end of this week or so, so if you are thinking about it let me know...
also- have you got your checkpoint clock app yet?

And so it goes. Still stoked as hell for this regardless of participation Still haven't figured out what I'm going to do for the checkpoint clock app thing. Pete, would the "lite" version work for our particular use? I'm leaning more towards running with a stopwatch 'cause I'm a cheap bastard

yeah we always see a little fall out here in the last couple weeks...
And I think the lite version should do the trick- you just need something that freezes the time of day when cars drive by- (which rules out most stopwatches) I'd have to look into what limitations he built into the lite version, but I probably will have one or two of the rally clocks if someone can't get the Ricta thing to run for them...
