(BUMP) I'd so love to come and watch this!!! I am already commmitted to instructing for the Corvette Club this weekend, or I'd go. I, like many I am sure, have an insane interest in rallycross . . . but I don't have a vehicle set up to do it. I'd sure love to try some time. Maybe I can rent a WRX, lol. HOCHE . . . are you here? Are you going to this??? When's the next event??? I really want to spend some time watching. I'll even help **** cones.

Yep, I'll be there. I'm coming up in the OBS, but I don't know if I'm going to be competing. I'll be setting up the course and I'll be watching as safety steward. If one of the other SCCA stewards shows up, I'm going to duck out for a few hours because I need to scout out some stuff for the rallyschool next month.

***If I show up with a big grin and my dues, is there any chance I can borrow your ride to check this stuff out? Surely I'll be too slow to hurt anything, but if I do, I'm good for the repairs. I've just always wanted to try some form of rally . . . and this seems like the safest venue to do so as a novice. Just thought I'd ask . . .

Can't do this one, but I'm thinking of coming up in October. Will a rental be okay? I won't be replacing my totaled Honda Civic Wagon until at least November.

Not quite the story I heard.

I herd that it was a whole lot of cows that assaulted you, and were thinking of using your vehicle for a car tipping...revenge for all of those times they've been tipped over.

Talk about a thread-jacking! , this was supposed to be about the Rally-cross, and its deteriorated into cow-tipping?

Hey it's back on course already!

And Roo was talking about CAR tipping, not COW tipping :-)

Well, if the cows have a valid drivers license, they can race as well.

It's a smaller turnout than usual, but that will probably mean a ton of fun runs at the end of the day, probably enough to race until you can stand it any longer.

Looking forward to that, could certainly use all the practice I can get after the fiasco last time out.
