Pacheco Ranch Winery Open house!

As a few of you know, my family owns and opperates Pacheco Ranch Winery in Novato. We have scheduled an open house for June 4th and 5th and any and all are more than welcome to attend, taste our Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, and have a tour of the winery and vineyards. The hours will be from 10:00am to 4:00pm, both Saturday and Sunday. This will also be the release of our 2001 Cabernet. All of our wines will be availible for purchase by the case or bottle, for those of you who are of age We will also have a guest book for those of you who would like to join our mailing list, which will consist of updates on the release of future vintages, special events specifically for mailing list members and their families, and things of that nature. Pacheco Ranch Winery's first vintage was in 1973, and has been a family opperation ever since my grandparents and parents planted the vines in 1969. All the grapes are hand picked, and from there we keep the hands on theme going throughout the entire fermentation process up till bottling and labling, which we also do ourselves. Hope to see some of you fellow I-Clubbers there!

Hey Patrick,

Sounds good, had a good time when it was just us BAIC'rs last time. I suppose this is open to the public, not just car nuts

Haha yea, this time it will be completely open to the public and hopefully there will be about, oh, 50 times more people than last. We are hoping for around 500 people for the weekend, so it will be a little different, but should still be just as fun!

A web-site. thats great.
Hey, would you still be willing to sell some wine before the open house date? Or shoud i just wait. What's the new harvest this year? I saw that you mentioned the Cab. But, i couldn't remember if you have any other Red grapes over there.

I also was happy to see your White over at the Cheese Factory. Roo & I had stopped by there a few weeks back and i spotted it on the shelf.

Yep, I remember when I went out there and delivered the Chardonnay to the Cheese Factory and set up the display. Let me know whenever you would like some wine, by no means do you have to wait until the open house. Right now, we only grow Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, the Chardonnay if you look at the lable, is a Monterey County grown wine, but we treated, fermented, and bottled it here at our facility. The open house is serving as our release of the 2001 Cabernet, and well will have all our past vintages that we still have stock of availible, including the Chardonnay. Let me know if you would like some before, and if you do decide to wait until the open house...I can pull some cases or however much you would like aside for you to make sure you get what you want. Hope to see you tomorrow at the photo shoot!

Hmm...

an excuse to drive some back roads down to Novato??

I think it's time to find a designated driver for the trip back, though...
