I slept two hours last night. Between drinking, gambling, and saying goodbye to all my friends I was out and awake till 3am, on the van to the airport at 5am and been flying all day. In mid air right now somewhere over Alabama.

So if I show tonight and someone says that THEY are tired... I'm gonna slapahoe.

 

What happened to your cars? I thought the new one was running well when you got it?

 

VR4 is running strong, but I don't want to put miles on it until 60k/120k are done along with some other things Towing it up to Sac tomorrow or Friday to get everything done.

Wagon needs new alternator, O2 sensors, front rotors/pads, new Kartboy endlink and the WRX suspension finally gave up the ghost (I have all of the parts, just need to find time). It is aslo pushing coolant, but it is not overheating (I haven't figured out the cause yet).

 

You might have a small HG failure. Big enough to seep coolant but not big enough (yet?) to overheat her

 

Can i bring a NON-Subaru with a Subaru engine in it ?

 

Don't jinx I will go through the cooling system when I get a chance...plus I have a conbustion gas/block tester kit sitting around, it is overdue for a flush anyway.

There is no bubbling in the overflow, no exhaust smoke, it is not burning oil...also the coolant still hasn't drained back from the overflow since I parked the car on Sunday night (may be just bad radiator cap )

 

Lol true. Sorry! I was fortunate with Brooke never giving me HG issues. Or ANY issues at that. She was a fantastic suby

 

Check the overflow tank too, I've had those split at the bottom when old. Slow leaks

 

Besides clear faults of my own, mine has been great as well. The car has 185k miles as well...so a lot of the stock factory parts are starting to go (FINALLY! ).

why didn't I think of that?! Old overflow tank was an issue on the VR4 for constant low coolant light.
