but yea i totally didnt see it, and ran over it with my front passenger side wheel and it popped my tire through the side wall. i thought i messed up my axle or something, but good thing i guess that it was just the tire. so me and erick slapped on the spare and i tried to drive off but there was a grinding and curbing sound.

checked it out and it turns out that the spare was rubbing against my brake calipers ( i upgraded to 03 front wrx brakes). so it would be bad news to go and totally mess up my caliper. so we then mounted on the blown tire, and just decided to drive slowly back home with the flat.

man i was so scared that the tire would pop out and i would soon be riding on my rim. tire was shaking and you can hear rubber smashing. luckily i was able to make it to my house and parked outside. i could smell the burnt rubber.... now i gotta see about replacing that tire at americas tire or they might have to special order them, since thats what they had to do last time. hopefully i can fix this soon or i cant go anywhere at all.

damn what a night..........
damn that sux. Hope you get it fixed quickly and cheaply!

lol just called him, hubert has a 02 spare, not sure if itll fit.

alright so i got a question for you guys, and sorry to go off topic in the meet thread, but i was just curious. so............ 02 and 03 front brakes are different (03's have bigger rotors). so would an 02 spare fit on an 03 wrx front? because i have upgraded my stock RS brakes to 03 wrx fronts.

and thanks for all the replys and trying to help out guys, i really appreciate it! i have some friends that are in the area today and we are gonna try to just take my wheel off and bring it to a shop to get a new tire. tires only have about 4k on them so far, so hopefully i wont need to shave anything down.

wow. super sucky.

if need be, i have a full set of 02/03 WRX wheels with some 'ok' tires on them you can borrow for a bit.

i drove on the tires previously, so the outside shoulders are non-existant, but the center tread and sidewalls are perfectly fine. they're all stock sizes too...

just lemme know.

thanks man i really appreciate the help! but good news, i was able to borrow 2 wrx stockers from a friends friend. he was nice enough to let me borrow them when he never even met me before lol. so i swapped the front 2 and was able to drive to the shop and give them the rim with a flat. i got it replaced last friday. no more mis matched rims! hooray!
