I went... and asked for help and Aaron and Mike just pretty much walked away....
What a waste of time and money. Probably the last time I'm going
I realize it's not their job to help out but they could have at least said something like, "yeah I'll help you out just give me an hour to chill and get some food"
I just got in my car and left! My wife and dog are at least happy to have my company...

i really did bring tools, but I didn't know how to change it, so I couldn't help you out.
and we thought you were going to sell yours and get a 04sti e-brake instead?

This must have happened before I showed up but in general this is one of the best meets out there. How long were you there? And did you only ask Aaron and mike? The only one I saw in thread that said might be able to help ya was heedz and at that he didn't sound very confident about doing it heh.

It sucks that no one was able to help, but maybe you could set up a time with someone outside the meet? That way they have the time, daylight, and correct tools to do it. Nothin is worse than spending the money on the parts, time on the labor, and then having someone install it incorrectly and messing other stuff up. Its a fun meet and I like going, its a chance to chill and kick back. Considering that quite a few of the memebers work in dealerships or independent shops, its kinda the last thing they wanna do when they have a chance to hang out with friends. I am sorry that no one was able to help and that you felt that no one was willing to. It sucks. I'm sure they are willing to, just at 10 on a wed nite may not be the best time
