john....what you do is claim it... and report the plates to the police because you have a witness..that handed you the paper with the plates ....do you have the persons name and number who seen what happened?

a dude dented my fender at IKEA. Crashed a shopping cart into my car. I walked up to see the cart tipped over next to my car and psm paint cracked off of the fat dent. I'm really pissed standing looking at my car in disbelief.
BUT THEN..
A guy walks up to me and hands me a note. He says hey man i saw this guy crash the cart into your car and here is his plate number.
I wanna kill the effer. hit and run is the lowest of the low.
The question..... What would you do if you knew who pulled a hit and run on your car?
Do I... find him (easily with the plate number) and bash his fender in cause its not worth doing an insurance claim and cops wont do anything anyway?
Do I... find a psm fender somewhere, do the work and approach him to pay for his damages?
What would you do?

Jon I'd say claim it, get a new one then go to him for damages cost and if he Denys it...

I'd say claim it as a hit and run and you don't know the guys info. Get new **** from insurance, then go beat the crap out of his fenders after you get new ones.

anyway... CHP pulled me over as I got off the Bay Bridge going back home from school today. Plates and exhaust too loud.. Winner. You all know my **** is barely a hum. Haha. Is there any way to have my DB tested to kinda just move away from that issue?
