headache bump... haha my firefox wanted access to the internet and i accidentally hit block so i had to turn off the firewall to get here. its on my list of allowed programs tho. anyone have any tips or anything to get this so the firewall can be on and firefox has access to the internet?
If you're not sure how, try googling it. If you can give more information tho i might be able to help, like what firewall are you running and what OS you got?

well i changed it so firefox is an allowed program but that doesnt do anything... im using windows xp so windows firewall and i have mcafee security center.

yoooo!.. ok so if you already made the choice to block it then you need to remove the block and/or create an exception for it in the windows firewall. When you go into the security center there will be an exceptions tab. Firefox will probably be there already. Worse case scenario, disable the windows firewall and test. When you made the choice to block was the window a mcafee window, or the windows security window?
