You're in my boat. I'm friggin slammed right now and can't get out of here. I'm so damned bummed. I'm going to have to put this on my calendar early next year and actually organize something. I'm thinking about maybe setting up a block of rooms and doing a BAIC invasion weekend. Do it big time next year.

It's a great event.

I've got too much crap going on right now. My car literally has no interior in it right now.

Will do.

Right now I'm trying to get everything that is even remotely wrong with the car fixed so I feel good about handing it over. Hell the last car I sold had like $8000 in parts on it and I sold it for $6800. LOL!

So I'm trying to get it all dialed in and I'm looking for an FXT. I'll probably buy the FXT and then sell my wagon. So it's still a little ways off.

Next on my list of fix/updates...
clutch
new drivers door
new bushings in the rear end
fix a suspension squeek/clunk. Think it's the seized end link.
New interior (going in starting today)

i figured as much and im not completly in a place to buy another subbie but i'd like to take a shot at her when its on the market. Plus i know you take care cars so i'd feel much more comfortable with the higher mileage.

Yeah it's been a good car. I'd get in it right now and drive across the country no question.

But if I was the one buying it I'd start saving for a monster motor swap because it's only a matter of time. LOL. miles are miles. I wouldn't be surprised if it got to 300k but I also wouldn't be surprised if it let go tomorrow. But yeah. I do my best to fix things on time. It's had 4 timing belts on it. LOL!

It's like that with any high mileage car. If I bought anything with over 100k on it I'd start saving for a motor. But that's just me.

Properly maintained these motors run a LOT longer than people think they will. I just saw one with 270k on it and running fine. I know LIC has seen a bunch of them over 200k. It's mechanical so it's just a matter of taking good care of it and making sure it's not doing anything to hurt itself.
