Take the intake off and let the filter dry for a while

What intake. Oiled or dry filter?

Just realized its says POODLE! LOL!

What can happen with intakes is the filter gets bogged. The car instantly recognizes an air flow issue. Shuts off. Can be tough to start.

What I would do is pull the filter off. Pop the negative terminal. Let it sit for about 30 seconds. While you're doing that pull out your maf sensor. Clean it with rubbing alcohol... qtip. No fingers. No rough towels. Put the cable back on your battery. Start the car.

If it's running normally put the filter back on (if dry) or get a new filter and put it on.

I've noticed with my SPT intake if I park my car facing down hill while it's raining water pools up on the pan the filter sits above. Then I start my car and turn around to go uphill... it sucks up the water. Bogs out and stalls out. Won't restart at first.

Sometimes you just have to turn key on off a few times fast and then start it.

It happened 3 times before I figured out WTF was happening. I used to park on a steep decline and have to turn around and pull out on to a highway on a steep up hill (well.. high traveled road.. old santa cruz)

try that.
