Hmmm... I thought there was a thread for that caravan. The meet time must be floating around here somewhere.
This thread was just to get the talk of the various caravans going and eventually post the basic info once each group got established.
Heedz started his own thread once he decided to take point on the Peninsula one since that's easlly a 20+ car group. It's not necessary to start your own thread, esp. if the caravan doesn't reach into double digits. But it can make it much easier to keep each group organized. Y'all could also just use your local meet thread to get a rollcall for your mini-caravans.

Oakridge is doable..That, or I was also thinking the home depot/Starbucks on Capitol. Either way I'm hopping onto 87N>280 S> 680N>whatever exit gets us to Morrill ave.
It was just an idea though for those who live on the south/west side of SJ or close to hwy 85. I don't want it to cause any complications in terms of it sounding like another but smaller SJ caravan.
Bottom line though is getting to Target by 10-10:10ish. If I can get enough people though we can set this up. I just kinda don't wanna be a loner rollin out =\ lol

Nah, I think you're good. Whenever you add to the roster or whatever, just post to this thread saying something like "Bump for SJ/Milpitas caravan update in Post #114."
Plus, I'll let Ray know to update the 1st post w/ the deets of y'all caravan.
'Tis really up to y'all though.

so glad i dont have to lead the caravan this year from san jose/milpitas again. Last year was so crazy trying to lead 50+ cars up 880 to alameda was just nuts!
Sheesh! When the numbers get past the teens, it can get pretty b0nkerz.
I mean it's fun & all on the freeway or open road.
But thru city streets, not so much.
I feel ya though, man. It's like on the snowboard trips I've joined in on w/ i-clubbers. Even when we're shredding only like 5 or 6 strong, certain areas can get a li'l dicey & it gets tough to stay somewhat together--i.e high traffic runs or thru tight trees.
But in the end, whether boarding or driving, it's all fun & worth it as long as everyone uses common sense & understands safety first!

I know how you feel, that's why I drove up there a couple of times to check out the stop light timing, making sure we can all make it through. But some places we won't be able to get around it
