to the guy in the GR hatch that just did the seat hook mod (sorry bro i'm terrible with names):
i found what you were referring to:
PERRIN Performance — — Wing Riser Kit
GR sti hatch wing riser
looks pricey for a bunch of washers and spacers, but 4* and better flow could be beneficial. so hard to find rear downforce for hatchbacks...

the blacktop? i had a friend with it who tracked more than me and he didn't like it for downforce because its attachment is pretty weak (like 2 bolts and a lot of tape) so the wing was pretty floppy.
The one that i hear works really well is a genuine WRC wing but those are flipping expensive... $1200 for this replica

wow,and they charge for that. thats pretty crazy. glad you pointed that out.
That wing looks hot, but is it still street legal? because its an obstruction to the rear window..?

i've been "online studying" this for a while, and the trend was lexan/plastic wings (like the auto-x guys) then full on wings mounted to the roof. Clearly these are freaking ugly for daily driven, so i'm looking for a compromise...
most of the shops are now pursuing the sedan models so the hatch development mostly stopped.
Zenkai w/ the lexan wing
crawford's roof wing setup:
