That's easy... drive yourself down to Petaluma and run our Monte Carlo style rally the night before instead of getting sauced!

 

Will be Autocrossing on Saturday so I will probably just end up cleaning the car all night

 

The wife and I will definately be going again this year. We did the LIC drive last year, and it sounds like the only option for the sonoma co. region this year, esp with lower numbers. Hopefully we can still get a decent stretch of subies cruising down 101 this year. I'm down to meet up at the safeway off RP expressway then cruise to LIC. Can we nail the time down for the safeway meeting, if I didn't already miss that in above posts? Maybe 6:15-6:30 take off time to LIC meet?

 

don't worry mike we're working on a time to meet. i'm talking to brian right now and it looks like we might be leaving later than 630 but we'll let all of you know for sure on the exact time to arrive/depart

 

Yeah 630am is pretty early. Does anybody know exactly what time guys are leaving from LIC. I know they have to be there early as vendors But I don't fancy been there too early

 

Yeah it was fun going with the couple extra LIC subies that did the caravan, but seeing as how the event starts at noon, and it only takes 2-2.5 hours to actually get to mt hammy, I'd hate to leave at 6-7am. Plus the wife groaned when I slipped it to her.......that we'd have to be in RP at 6:30am. Just let me know what time you come up with David. Call me on saturday just to make sure I know the time. Alcohol can cause memory loss.

 

I reckon lets shoot for meet up at 730am in RP Safeway car park head down 101 and onto 280 and then meet up with the San Jose caravan at 930am. There is a big group of them and then we can follow them on to Mt. Tammy. I knwo its still early but not as bad as 630am.

just got your pm brian. 730 sounds good to me. my friend will be tagging along with us in an 02 wrb wrx. do you have an idea of how many people are suppose to be meeting up? and is 730 a depart time or arrive time?

I think we should look at leaving around 0730. Since its only small lets just meet and roll more or less.. We can get breakfast in San Jose..

I live in RP myself, and right down the street from that safeway.

Generally we leave early to catch up to other caravans, by the time we make it to D&B there used to be like 40+ of us, not sure this year, everything seems a little disorganized.

So it looks like we're still meeting at the same 730am time but we're going to meet up with noah and the guys at LIC. if you plan on going then please post up so we can get an idea of how many people are going. so far it looks like only about 5 or 6 of us going. pretty small compared to last year...

I'll try to be at the RP Safeway at 7:20ish to be safe. Anyone else here bringing lawn chairs or umbrellas/ish like that? I think I'm gonna head to target or somethin and buy one or two folding chairs and maybe something to provide shade. BTW, anyone know anyone going that has some Bride ZETA III's I could sit in? I am thinking of buying a pair and wanted to test fit one and see how the padding feels.
