Chillin' (probably literally, given it'll be March/April) with my girlfriend, Lisbeth.

She lives over there (Carluke, between Edinbergh and Glasgow)--- Long distance relationship.

We'll also be spending four days in Nice, France for the 75th birthday of Bob Roudon, the guy who trained me as a winemaker.

Weather permitting, we'll try to see Ardnimarchan (sp), Mull, and Islay.

Did someone say Dirt/Gravel????

Rich, I'm glad you assumed I'd be all in for this... I guess my mudflaps and constantly dirty car give me away huh?

Oh man... even more reason to look forward to summer now!

Wow, the off-road TSD rally is months away and we have a massive group already.

1.) bushido(rich) "wrb WRX sedan"
2.) psoper(pete) "black WRX wagon"
3.) vaus(ed) "black WRX sedan"
4.) jwainwri(john) "wrb STi sedan" or his "white outback"
5.) roo & pleiad7(greg & silke) "silver Forester XT"
6.) bluburu(mike) "wrb WRX sedan"
7.) gotwrx(tim) "silver WRX wagon"
8.) balanz(micheal) "wrb WRX sedan"
9.) the law(patrick) "wrb WRX sedan" i think?
10.) sfwrx2 & pumpkin spice(josh & melissa) "white STi sedan"
11.) duo(name?) "car?"

wow. that's a good group of people to want to bang around in the dirt. The route for the rally has already been picked out, it's just now i have to wait to drive it with Pete so we can in-put all the "proper" mileage and pick out hidden checkpoints. I can tell you however that the rally will start from KK in Santa Rosa where you will buy something and the time on your reciept will be your start time. where you'll drive north up to Hopeland for your first checkpoint.

Everyone thinking of doing this drive should be considering doing the TSD rally that Pete is putting on for the opening weekend of "Rally-X" up at thunder hill. It'll be starting in Vallejo and ending up in Williams. That way you'll all have the concept of what a TSD rally is and how to work it. Plus the roads are sick. I drove with him on some pre-checks and yo will not be dissapointed.

here's a link to the rally thanks to Tim.

nope, I have an '04 STi Silver, soon to be having 2-piece slotted front Project Mu rotors & pads, plus one-piece rear slotted rotors & pads, teflon lines front and back, and some really good fluid...my car is hungry for some roads!
