OK I f***ed up yesterday. I hit this pothole damn hard. Didnt think I did anything. I found out I bent my rim just enough that I get some vibration feedback in the steering wheel. If anyone can hook me up for a decent price I would be stoked. I will bring you hot dogs and beer next meet as well. Let me know asap. I am super bummed. The baby slept right through it though. I thought that part was halarious.

I have a question for everyone. I heard that if you remove the air intake silencer that it is essencially the same thing as buying the $200 short ram intake. I have 2 questions with this. #1 has anyone done this and if so does it sound good? I relize it wont give much power but either will the short ram all on its own. #2 Will it void my warrany. I bought $3k worth the warranties and I dont want to void them cuz I want my car to sound good.
One other part. I know there are people here that work for the Subaru Steal-erships. If i buy my parts from subaru i.e. SPT intake, heatshield, SPT exhaust, Can i install them myself? or does the dealership have to do it for it not to void my warranty? Also please verify that i can do that while on warranty. A service manager said I could as long as they were Subaru authorized parts. Thank you very much for taking the time to read and answer this.
If i can do either I would like to have it done before the next meet and drive. SO LET ME KNOW ASAP!

you like your car in the stock form.....just go with all spt parts, short ram spt catback, heat shield and everything you need. Get a Cobb AP and throw the stage 1 tune on your car and you will have some great added power to you 2.5l

My roomy has a short ram air on his 02 and I personally think it sounds annoying. Too much whooshing and swooshing for a daily driven car. I thought my 03 with just exhaust mods sounded much better in cabin. But that's just my opinion.
