Seriously, I'm so happy and excited to start something in south bay. I'm sorry, but I'm not the type of guy who's going to drive 35-45 minutes for a meet, so thats why I'm making it down south for everyone around here. I hope some people that do live 35-45 minutes come to this meet, because this will be a BIG one! We will be driving Mt. Hamilton at Sunset going up, and heading back down when its starting to get dark, with a little photo shoot on top. We can have another meet at a food place, or starbucks when we get back, or we can just head our separate ways. I'm just happy so many people are cool and down to meet!

So far, we got 15+, thats bigger then last weekends meet! And let me tell you, last week was a GOOD sized meet! Most of the people from last week are coming. Plus, thats 15, with a LOT of people saying maybe, pretty sure it will be over 20 cars, Video Cameras/Digital Cameras would be great, make a couple driving vids? or Photoshoot. Sounds exciting, I'll post the exact addy in a few!

I am driving 30 minutes for the meet. Why not. It is worth it to meet other Subie people.

 

Sweet, If you can, PM me or Post it so we will know whether to wait for you before heading to Hammy or not. It's like over an hour for you, that would suck if we left cause you came 5 minutes late....lol. I hope everyone makes it safe, and we go and come from hammy safe, and just have a fun day.

 

Damn, drive up Mt. Hamilton? You're crazy John, but that would be cool. A bunch of subies going up and down those roads... dangerous too. I'm down for that adventure though! The last time I drove up there was around prom time last school year. Going up for the first time was scary but going back down is fun.

 

Why am I crazy for that? If 10+ people come, (most likely), then we will take it easy, I mean, were not going to go 50+ and try to race up there, but were not also going to go 10 all the way up. We'll dry like 20-25 mph the way up, cruise up there, and coming down, it will be darker, so I don't want any crashes or falling off cliffs, so we'll take it pretty much cruising down also. Most of the people are new to Hammy to, thats why. It will be fun though, some parts with wide roads and rails, we can drive a little fun, but tight, no rails, were driving 5 mph, lol.

Time: Meet and Greet at 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM

Spirited Drive: Leave Hellyer at 3:45-4 PM, head over to Mt. Hamilton, Head down little after Sunset.

LOCATION, We will FIRST meet on Hellyer Ave., It is ALL Companies, so Instead of driving there to look for a companies number, I did the area of the street that we will be on. If you come from going down the hill, you will take a right on hellyer, and it will be in one of those companies to your right, just look in the lots for a lot of subies, if you come from opposite direction, make a left on hellyer and it will be on your right. If you come from 101 South, get off on Hellyer, cross the bridge, head alllll the way down hellyer, then when you find blossom hill, make a U turn and it will be on your right. I'll try to find the most obvious parking spot were everyone can spot us. Try to be there before 3 so we can get everyone and head to hamilton before it gets dark.

Lol...tell you the truth...Were following Khoi. He's taking us up there, and maybe before going up the actual mountain, we can stop on the side and decide what to do, who wants to go in front/mid/back, who will drive slow and who will drive crazy, I dont know, And maybe take a couple of pics to show other suby guys how big this meet was. We'll talk about it tomorrow.. I know there has to be one of the 15-20 people coming that know how to get to Mt. Hammy LOL

 

I know you can get up there from Alum Rock, but the farthest I've ever went up was to the Mt. Hamilton restaurant. I forgot its name.

You guys know the big lot that held the Big 200+ Suby's for the 05 Suby Meet on Hammy? I want to go there, so it would be easier to take pics/hang out.

From hellyer, we just take 101 North, go On Capitol, then follow, and take right on Quimby, you just keep going up until you find Kincaid, and WABAMM!!

 

AND WAMBAMM!! your lost.. hahah!!! jk
