disagree, there is almost absolutely no way to fk up in the oven ive done this a dozen times for people

heatgun will only heat up one spot at a time and is unnessesary
bake on a pan about 10-15 min, take out, pry apart easy, do your thing, close back up tabs, bake about 10 min, screw everything back together, done

thats exactly what i did, so easy to pry it open, and you can watch tv while you wait for it to bake.

Well I was thinking seperate but now that you say together that's not a bad idea! While you're at it, make some pictures on the cookies with the silicone glue

I agree with the folks about the oven.. to me that would be cleaner more efficient. The heat would evenly take it apart instead of one patch at a time and have chance of cooling down before you got it all the way heated.. And also you have a high chance of melting the headlights if you are not very careful.
