My mom grew up in SLO! Great town. I'm surprised there isn't a meet going on already. I'm sure there's quite a few Cal Poly students with Subies.

As an Alumni of Cal Poly I can tell you that there wasn't any real Subaru meet in SLO not that I found out about anyway... I joined the local car clubs there and went to a few of their meets. You might want to check out CCMW.CC they occasionally have meets and there is another group called SLOcars.net I think. I know that SLOVW is pretty big in the area and they meet more frequently than the other two groups. Check out Turri rd off of LOVR as well as Perfumo Canyon rd which will take you up over the mountain and down in to avila. Hope some of this helped. Good Luck!

I'd have to disagree with your opinion sir. But you are entitled to it anyway. Cause lumping everything in to one category seems childish. And then further generalizing campus groups shows a true open mindedness*sarcasm*. Remember there are exceptions to every rule.

i wasn't judging the town, but the school. Look at how much percentage of the students are rich white kids. I use to live in SLO. Anyways I think it's an awesome place. I don't think people should confuse how awesome slo is and attribute that to cal poly. HEH.
but yea obviously everybody doesn't suck there, just kinda weird the abundance of rich white kids.

I went to school there. Yes I am white, was an Ag major. I know the kids you are talking about. I am by no means rich, but I had some good friends that were in fraternities. While some of them are kids paying for their own friends, there are some really cool ones if you take the time to get to know them. Would you be referring to the kids rolling something like a brand new g37s coupe with dealer placards still on the plates? Or the kid in AGR who drove that Jeep SRT 8?

I agree SLO KICKS butt I'd like to move back there one day... I love the beaches of the central coast.
