My cars been overheating. I bought new Super Blue Coolant from Subaru I just need to do a radiator drain & fill. I'm not sure though if my thermostat is going bad or potentially something else though as I can drive for a while, but then the water temp just starts rising. If I put the heater all the way up to hot & put the blower on full it will lower the temperature so I can drive the car, but I have had this happening a few times since last week.

Uhm, not sure what people are feeling like eating tonight.
Chili's
Orient Express - Take Out Chinese (Good & Cheap)
Mimi's Cafe
Dublin Sports Pub & Grill
El Balazo
Cheese Steak Shop
Something else? I'm pretty much down for whatever tonight as no real preference right now.

Hmmm, haven't noticed if the fan turns on or not. I'll have to check that and see, but it's a bit more difficult to check when I don't have someone else either checking the engine bay or sitting in the car to make sure the temperature isn't rising too much.
I'm hoping it is just a bubble in the system or something since when I was having Ian working on the car to replace the lower pulley he ended up needing to take the radiator out to get access to the pulley. When he took it out coolant ended up spilling out and we had to refill with partial coolant mixed with the tap water (BTW, not blaming him or anything like that, changing coolant can be a messy job and it just sucks that it happened, but it is what is). I'm guessing there are imperfections in the tap water that are filtering through and causing issues hence the reason I really want to drain out the coolant that is in the car and get the new coolant put in there.
When I drive with the Heat on Full & the Dial set to Max it does regulate the temperature and keep the water cool (although I noticed it looks like it takes a toll on the battery as I can see the lights on the dash dimming and then brightening so I'm sure it is causing a drain on the battery to run everything like that when driving through the city streets.
I don't think it's a headgasket, but I'm not sure if I should just replace the fluid or if I should consider getting a new T-Stat to go with it at this point? I've never had this problem before, but I do have a 160 Degree T-Stat in the car now, so not sure if that is causing an issue or not.

Yeah, we can do Orient Express.
Orient Express - San Ramon, CA
2475 San Ramon Valley Blvd
#5
San Ramon, CA 94583
(925) 743-9516
You can order the items they have available at the counter or you can have them cook off of their full menu.

I think they close at 9:00 PM so probably should get there by 8:30 (8:45 latest I would think) to make sure they still have food. Like I said though, you can always order off the menu instead of the hot plate selection up front, but that does take a little longer to get the food.
Good thing about this place though is when I have gone close to closing time if they do have something they tend to hook up extra portions for you so that it doesn't go to waste.
