It's almost friday! Woot woot

 

So this morning, as I was cold starting my car, I smelled a strong scent of unburnt fuel. I've noticed this the past couple days, but figured it was the fuel that got splilled while doing my fuel pump smelling up the cabin. Today, I noticed that the smell seemed to be coming from my engine bay, so I popped the hood. Immediately I noticed my fuel lines dripping gas onto my block, right before the injectors. needless to say, my car is getting towed to FLI tomorrow. Fml. I'll be setting up an AAA account today :/

Edit. **** AAA, Nestor's towing came through for me instead. Didn't hassle me at all about being low, and were able to maneuver my car onto the flatbed without even scraping my muffler.

I got my mudflaps yesterday but I came down with the flu so I haven't been able to install them. So much soup and tea...

 

Yeah, but this isn't really related to that. I can see where my fuel line is leaking, right at the clamp before the metal tubes to my injectors, under the manifold. Looks like the clamp was either over tightened, or just old and worn. It explains my hesitaion and bogging issues somewhat, the fuel pressure must be all messed up.
I'm also feeling under the weather. Drinking so much tea here at work.

I'm starting to think I should have gotten that flu shot from Costco for free this year. I've lost 16 hours of work from this already lol.

 

Can't wait until the sealer shows up so I can get these back together and on my car. Really happy with how they turned out.

 

Anyone interested in buying some Blizzaks and ROTA PF45's? The tires are brand new, still in wraps and never mounted. They have been in my garage for a year. The wheels are 6 years old.
