So, as most of you know, the STi is broken until further notice. I have consulted with a couple of Scooby mechanics and they all agree that the turbo is probably NOT the culprit in this case, but cylinder #2. What that means is that I need to return the car to stock and play "dumb" at the Subaru dealership. However, I am missing a vital part, the stock up pipe.

Does anyone here have a stock downpipe I can borrow or purchase before I post a new thread for one?

Also, I will be tearing down the top end (intake manifold) to re-install the stock turbo inlet and taking off the headers if anyone wants to join in and get some experience (and a few beers of course).

Thanks for the support guys, and I'll see you on the 14th in my beater car ('94 civic ftw)!

Depending on when you plan on undertaking said project, I'd love to come watch and learn. I know absolutely nothing about these things and would love to learn. Keep me posted on when this is happening!

Thanks everyone. To clear things up, I am indeed looking for an up pipe. I have the stock down pipe in the garage. I'm thinking of starting the work on Sunday because on Saturday I'm attending a get together for a friend going home to New York in a few days. If you can make it, let me know. If not, no biggie. There's plenty of work to be done!
