455h013, what is the best way to get from St. Helena to Santa Rosa. I see that I can go right over the mountain, which is what I would prefer but I'm not sure if it's completely paved. The directions are to take Spring Mountain Rd until it becomes St Helena Rd. Most of it looks good, but since I'm not from that area, do you think you can do some recon and let me know?
Also, I fixed the map. Page 1 is Glory hole to Dillon's Beach. Page 2 is where everyone starts at and points of interest (rest stops, gas stations etc.) I don't know why they are on Page 2 and not on Page 1.

I do believe that the road you are speaking of is indeed unpaved. I will check with a coworker in the morning that knows that area well.
your good to go. napa is not that backwoods. if you guys want I could meet you at the dam and lead through napa and take the fun way. spring mountain is the best way form st helena to santa rosa.
