Golden West 2005 flyer is up!
This year's installment of the legendary Golden West Rally will run July 23 and 24.
Based in Yreka, Golden West is run under a special use permit issued by the Klamath National Forest.
Covering nearly 400 miles over 2 days, this TSD adventure will challenge teams consisting of a driver and navigator to maintain assigned average speeds on all kinds of surfaces through all kinds of terrain, last year we had participants from up and down the west coast.
In additions to being the third event in the Pacific Coast Challenge series, (http://www.teamhightower.com/pcc/) this year it is also listed on the SCCA National Touring Rally Championship, so we expect to see a few entrants coming in from across the country.
There will be a limited number of entries so you should get registered soon if you plan to attend.

Maybe some of last years entrants can share some stories to fire you up for it!

Well Pete, there are far too many posers on the club. People afraid to get thier cars dirty. I have told some friends and i'm trying to get them excited about doing it. I've got a few bites but no ones on the hook.

I will be 100% there. I jus have to wait a few weeks before i spend the money on the event. Funds are really low right now. But i'll be there. Just don't know who'll be my co-pilot yet.
