Dominted? Who is at fault that people with old school Impreza's don't come to "normal" meets?
Like I said, this meet makes as much sense as a black WRX meet. And, to not invite everyone else is funky if you ask me.
I did not say that someone is against me or i-Club. And, if someone was/is, I don't care. Your call.

You are saying:
"There is an Impreza meet, but don't bring your WRX's..."
I think that it is just simply rude. We never did stuff like this before. Bay Area Subaru folks are all friends. Lots of them don't even have Subaru's anymore. Yet, everyone is still welcome to come to any meet. It is just an unwritten rule that non-Subaru's don't park in the Subaru pack.
Hell, even I don't drive my Subaru right now. Should I stop coming to meetings too then?
I think that is just rude. Intended or not. Especially disrespectful of REAL old school members who had RS's before but now have WRX's.
---
The idea to bring out GC8 owners is great. But your approach sucks. You should have have done something like "Old meets New" sort of a thing where all Impreza generations can be present. Where all people can hang out and do what they love. To inspire GC8 owners come out and represent their cars.
Might as well call your meeting "Subaru Segregation"...
Just my .02 cents.

"Subaru Segregation"?? Gimmie a break. Its not a anti WRX clan meeting. Its just a bunch of RS owners getting together with other RS owners.
Besides everyone knows WRXs and thier owners suck ***. Just kidding, lighten up. Let us lowly RS pilots have our little meet.

Look, it is just ONE freaking meet... big deal. You think I can prevent people from showing up in their WRX's? Hell no, I wouldn't even be mad if they did that. It's a free country you can do whatever you want. There is nothing wrong about having a meet for the old school imprezas.
EDIT: And I changed the 1st post, anybody can come! I just want to get the biggest mass of old school imprezas to the meet as possible

If we did Old meets New it would just be a regular meet Alex. While I appreciate your passion, you need to let go of this grand ideal you have of a united Subaru community. You act like we are trying to recruit people out of I-Club and tell them not to attend regular meets anymore. I think you need some perspective man, this is only a car club, for most people a hobby. I realize more than a few people integrate it heavily into their lives and if they cry themselves to sleep for a night or two because they aren't invited to a meet, well then I'm sorry but perhaps they need to re-evaluate their priorities. Some of us just want a day to hang out with other old school owners, only one afternoon Alex, to discuss our cars see other ideas people have. I'm sorry but I don't need or what any WRX owners asking me why I didn't buy a WRX or any other such non-sense which I can promise would happen. If you or anyone else doesn't understand or can't accept that, well I'm sorry for you.
Jeff, I think you did good. Now you still have an Old School Impreza meeting, but you it is still open for everyone else. That is the way to do it. Thanks.
