is the detail spray really nessary? maybe i can pick those up next time but for tonight just the wax, claybar, and tire dressing
you need some kind of lubrication to go with the clay for it to slid over the surface. detail spray is the best, but some people use soap water or just water alone. Soap water sometime turn the clay muddy so be careful and water can turn into water mark if you don't work fast enough.
If you already have detail spray from other brand at home, that would work too, you don't have to get mine. But detail spray is good for other things like quick wipe, getting rid of bird dropping without a wash, fresh water mark, and light surface dirt. You don't have to get it now, I'll be around.

hi, my name is chris and i got my 2004 sti about 2 weeks ago, but never had a chance to introduce myself. hoping to meet a lot of you guys tonight at the wingstop meet. i'm good friends with sean (downsti), and anthony (xhengmanx), and they've been helpful with my suby. i came from a white 350z, if any of you guys seen before a white Z with cf hood/lip, red sparco's, cusco rollcage, time attacks, that was me =D. anyways hope to see some of you guys tonight.
