Anyone planning on going to this? Was wondering how this is gonna work? Is it indy practice sat. + formula D and indy race sun? Can't seem to find much info on their site... also checked out ticketmaster and the seating chart give me a 'GA1' ticket.. I'm assuming that either it's general admission only, or only general admission tickets left?

 

i'm wondering how it's going to work as well. Indy Car takes up the whole track, while FD takes up most of the two days at one part of the track.

 

Got a reply from the fd website which clears some of the info up:

Your tickets will be good for IRL and Formula Drift but for the specified days only, Fri-Sat. Friday will be our 32 down to 16 and Saturday will be our main competition of top 16. If you wish to attend the IRL event on Sunday you must purchase separate tickets. I hope this answers some of your questions.

 

hope they practice alot during the day sat. cuz im not interested in the Indy part...damnit.

 

from previous events, they don't really practice on Saturday. if you want to see a lot of drifting action, go on friday.

i'm still confuse how are they going to let Indy cars and other cars practice on the track on friday as FD takes up that corner of the race track.
