On the the way out from the 80 heres a AWESOME little backroad to hit as a detour from Hwy 12, and if you hit it at the right time its actually quicker! from the 12 take the 29 north into napa and get off on Trancas and head west(1), in a couple miles it will turn into Redwood/Mt. Veder road and turn north, suck in your gut and tighten your seatbelts at the end of Mt. veder turn left onto Trinity road(2) and try to stay on the paved side of the mountain. this will reconnect with the 12 in a couple miles. I take this route everytime I head out to the 80. you'll thank me!
heres a little bit about the other roads around there, Dry Creek is okay but Mt. Veder is the best by far, its so tucked away I had to dry it on the map!

BTW, if you want some roads to cruise after the meet, I'm sure we can arrange some roads. I won't mention them here, but they do include some of the lesser known roads.
